Brighton Nightclubs Update
Nightclubs in Brighton, and everywhere else, seem to have lost their way a little when it comes to supplying a consistently awesome night out. Nights out in Brighton and clubs in Brighton especially, with some exceptions, have forgotten what it's all about!

We are Brighton clubbing ’s spiritual home of block rocking Soul, Funk, Motown, Jazz, Old School Breaks & Hip Hop, and all things funky and quirky from the 60’s to the 00’s. It is our simple, no nonsense approach to nights out in Brighton that packs us out every weekend.
No dress code, no age discrimination, no frills, no bells and whistles, just four walls, a dance floor, a bar and the best music on the planet!

First time visitors to our Brighton nightclub are instantly hooked on our unique approach and simple ethos. Our Funkyfish virgins are astounded on their first visit as to how huge the atmosphere is in such a small, humble club. FUNKYFISH AT PRIDE FESTIVAL
On Saturday August 7th we are proud to announce we will be running a bar at the Pride festival on Preston Park. Our area will be in the VIP corner of the park, there is public access to where we are at, our bar is just also serving the VIP section too. DJ Del will be there rocking out a cool Funkyfish vibe on his four decks too, poke your nose in and say hello!

FUNKYFISH 10TH BIRTHDAY
Tenth of the tenth 2010 ! We will be 10 years old, and we are throwing the mother of all parties! We are reaching out to everyone who has ever shaken their butt on the hallowed dancefloor of our legendary little establishment to come and join us to celebrate Brighton best little club.
There will be many activities in the build up to this as we take to the town to spread the 10 year message, we'll be out on the streets with the decks in tow, cranking out our unique sound, our awesome music that has kept us going through thick and thin and we want to have all our big regulars from the last decade come in on this night, hence why we are starting to get this message out now so you can put in in your diaries!
So please spread the message of 10.10.2010, of course that is a Sunday but how can we miss a strapline like that eh???? The actual party will take place on Saturday the 9th! If you are an old or recent regular here and know others, invite them too.
DJ Del will also be whipping up a '10 years of the Funkyfish' classics mix for download, he'll be doing a 'making of' video of this mix too, so you can see the work that goes into creating one his awesome mixtapes!

SALSA:

If you are not part of our database yet you must get on board, i just sent out a mailer with some great offers for free Fridays and mega cheap Saturdays too and all with freebie shots! There'll be more so click on the link at the top of the screen, don't miss out.

COMEDY ON SATURDAYS:
If you are booking a hen or stag party this year, even if you are not frequenting our club for your night out, you may be interested in joining us for the start of the evening. Jaggers comedy club will be running a weekly night in the Funkyfish Club during the early part of Saturday night. It's a brilliant way to kick start your evening, with some of the UK's top comics. It should be said though that the comedy clubs offer of entry into a club after the show does NOT include the Funkyfish, any group bookings for us should be dealt with separately.

HENS & STAGS:
Hen & Stag night planners for 2010 & 2011, have a really good look at our hens & stags page, we have changed our policies slightly. In an effort to only get the kind of hen groups who really want to shake their asses to some good Funkyfish vibes, we ask that you have a good look at our policy on hen and stag groups on that page as we have a few restrictions in place. Stags, we don't have a blanket no policy to stag groups but are quite picky, have a good read of the page and if you feel you need extra info either email us or call and we'll explain to you in detail what we look for in a stag group to be allowed entry.
